Sourdough Classes
Join me for a 2.5 hour hands on sourdough class in my home in Herriman, Utah. Come and learn how to take care of your new sourdough starter. I will guide you through every step of sourdough artisan breadmaking from start to finish: mixing, proofing, shaping, scoring, and baking. Discover the immense health benefits of baking with whole grains and sourdough.
You will leave the class equipped with the knowledge and supplies to start baking! The following items are included with the class:
sourdough starter and two jars, with detailed instructions on maintaining a starter
15 page sourdough guidebook with everything taught in class and more
sourdough starter quick guide and FAQs
parchment bread sling and dry erase marker
warm sourdough bread and a light charcuterie lunch/dinner
I am passionate about sourdough baking and would love to help you as you start your sourdough journey.
I am currently only offering private group classes to groups of 6-10 people. So if you have a group of at least six friends/family that would like to take a class, please contact me and I can set up a private class for you. I usually teach on Tuesday mornings from 10:30am - 1:00pm or Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm - 8:30pm. If Tuesdays won’t work for you, I’d be happy to find another day that will work.
Register for a class to reserve your spot!
REFUND POLICY: The minimum private group class size is six people. If someone in your group needs to cancel (due to illness or schedule changes), and there are less than six people still available to take the class, we will need to reschedule the class. If there are still at least six people available to come to the class, then a refund will be offered to those unable to attend.
